We will create this fun two sided decorative flag for your yard or home using the Accuquilt Go! Cutters and dies. No need to have the dies or the cutter to take to class as they will be provided for you.  The flag uses several die shapes to create the design  that will then be fused down.  This is a fast and fun project that showcases the ease of using the Accuquilt Cutting System to create beautiful and unique pieces. Come and join Jeannie as she shows you the how tos  of this fast and fun technique!

Kit: $25  Includes the use of all templates to complete project and fabrics.

The pouch would work well as a make-up bag and because of the design it would be easy to add a waterproof lining should you so wish.  Perfect as a gift for sewing friends, or a girlfriend's birthday. With the unique technique on the outside of the bag this will be the envy of all your friends.

includes all pre-cut fabrics, interfacings, instructions and zipper.

Improv Tote

Tuesday 8:30 - Noon

Make this one of a kind tote that measures approx 12" x 28" (not including straps).  You will learn how to stitch and flip in the round creating a bag that no one else has.  We'll also make straps with a peek-a-boo- edge on the straps (not Shown)

This loveable Horse will spread joy and cuteness for someone in your life.  This Herd for Hugs pattern became available as a charity project for foster homes and care centers.  Spread Happiness. Make one then share Calico Horses with others! Fun and easy project.

This handy tool holder sits next to your machine holding all the notions you need at your fingertips.  No more, can't find your seam ripper, snips, marking pens or Rotary Cutter. This is a simple and quick project we can make after dinner.  It really does help having all the tools handy while at your machine. A perfect place for everything.

Neck Warmer

Wednesday  1:30 - 5:00

This project is a neck warmer.  It's great  if you have a sore, tight, or aching neck.  Put in the microwave for a minute or two. Test first to be sure its not too hot! Great to sit and relax as the warm heat permeates through you. A fun and easy project.  Makes a great gift too!

Kit Fee: $2o.

Includes front and back fabric, felt for tail and eyes, rickrack for fin and Rice for Filler and pattern.

Fish Placemat

Thursday   8:30 -Noon

We will be making one in class but if you want to make a set be sure you have enough strips to make what you need.  You will need to bring your own strips in the colors that will match your color scheme at home.  Each placemat will take from 8 - 13 pieces depending on the width you prefer. Jelly Rolls will work fine.  I prefer 3 - 3 1/2" wide strips.

Kit $15.00

Kit Includes:  Batting, Pattern, Directions to finish one placemat in class

Heirloom Embellishment

A modern and easy application of the favorite heirloom embellishment, Maderia Applique. Maderia Applique and Wing Needle pinstitching are very versatile techniques that can be used on quilts, garments, totes and so much more. Note:  The pinstitch, pointe de paris, and blanket stitch are one and the same. In this class, using surprisingly easy and simple techniques, we will embellish a tea towl with a scalloped Maderia Applique band, that is pinstitched with a wing needle.

Kit Cost: $25.00 includes Moda cotton toweling, contrasting band fabric, Wing Needle, 80 Universal Needle, YLI water soluable thread, 80 Cottom Thread, Glue, tear away stablizer, template, Instructions.

Supply List:  Blue Water Soluable Marker, Open Toe embroidery foot, General Sewing Supplies and Machine in Good working order that is capable of a blanket stitch.  Class is limited in size so hurry to get your spot!

mitering, borders, binding and Super Sharp corners easier than you thought possible.  This is a Hands-On Class. Learn these techniques to make your work perfectly even on all sides.  You will also learn how to  make a Knife Edge on a pillow or quilt - - Extra tips and demos to make your quilting life easier.
