Meet the fabulous teachers for the 2021 Sewing Conference!
Jeannie started quilting at 22 when she was living in Kentuck and a friend's mother helped her hand piece and quilt her first quilt, a double wedding ring. As soon as she was old enough to operate the sewing machine solo, she began her sewing hobby which has spanned her life with sewing, embroidering and quilting. Jeannie first started using the GO! System when it was first released and just loves the time saving and perfect cuts that it afforded. Jeannie teaches at local stores and national events. She is a retired school Media Specialist/Teacher with 35 years experience. Jeannie lives in Palm City, Florida close to her daughter and grandson with her two rescue dogs, Radar and Stitch.

I started sewing when I was very young by learning first from my mom and then my grandmother. I went from sewing and crocheting doll clothes at age 8 to making my own clothes in my early teens. From there I apprenticed with an accomplished dressmaker at a bridal shop. I love making and creating beautiful things. I now live in Beverly Hills, Fl with my husband. I have 2 daughters.
Edie is a Charter Member of FSS and has served on the Board for the past seven years. She enjoys sewing garments for children and gifting her special projects to friends.
I'm a lifetime Florida resident who grew up in Orlando before the era of Disney. Now I reside in Port St. Lucie where I retired as a Public Education Coordinator. I am teaching at Laura's Sewing in Port St. Lucie and in Palm Beach Gardens. My specialty is the serger, but I also teach garment classes. I'm the current Florida representative for Loralie Fabrics.

I learned to sew as a young child from mom, 4-H and then majored in Home Economics in college. I taught sewing construction as a 4-H Agent during many sewing camps for teens. I now teach classes at Beyond the Stitches, in Crystal River. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of sewing and love to see the creativity of others.
